This application was launched from the Geographic Information Department in the Department of Intelligent Operation and Control in the Madinah Water Directorate with the aim of supporting field work to display the components of the water and sewage networks on an interactive map with the ability to update it and add new meter locations in addition to supporting maintenance teams by listing the assigned tasks and displaying them on the map To facilitate access to it, as is done through the geographical application automating the tasks undertaken by the following sections:
• Water and Sanitation Networks Maintenance Section, which handles emergency maintenance work orders and fills out their forms in addition to conducting scheduled maintenance activities.
• SCADA department that deals with maintenance operations for all SCADA network components, installation and preparation of SCADA equipment on water tanks, valves, pumps, etc.
• Excavation permits section, where through the application the contractor is provided with easy-to-use tools to send the permit request and locate the excavation on the map. Then the inspectors can use the mobile application to follow the drilling process and take pictures.
• Laboratory division as responsible for soil testing of backfill layers and repositioning by the contractor after any excavation activity, as contractors must adhere to the specifications of the materials set by the laboratory.
• Violations section, where the department's inspectors make field visits based on emergency cases that are registered through the current customer complaints system or based on a periodic schedule to verify network violations committed by citizens.
