The Chemical and Alkali Merchants' Association (CAMA) was established 1956, by a band of highly committed and charitably inclined Traders, who had just set up their businesses in the highly restricted, post Independence era. They were pioneers in the true sense. Their objective was to bring together the Chemical & Dyes Dealers, then operating mostly out of Vadgadi in Central Mumbai, under one roof, for the advancement of their common causes and to serve Society and the downtrodden in particular.
