Companionapp is a mobile application linking HIV patients (especially youths and Key Population) and healthcare providers with a mission to improve patients' follow-up, access, and adherence to treatment. it works as an online App with a broadband connection and USSD for people without internet.
Companionapp is in HIV+ patient’s phones and in the hospital server with following youth-friendly services:
• Reminder to take medication (Dose, time, and frequency) and inform if he took medication in the app (it helps for the documentation and adherence control)
• Online Direct contact between Healthcare providers and patients.
• Safe and confidential home delivery of antiretroviral treatment, Condoms, Lubricants, Pre and Post-exposure prophylaxis on demand.
• HIV+ patient without reply for 2 days, the system alerts his/her Doctor and nearest community health worker.
