The BRÜHL safety distance configurator is aimed at people who deal with safety distances due to guards in the development of machines and systems as part of the risk and hazard assessment. The BRÜHL safety distance configurator offers users a mobile, free possibility to perform safety distances for guards according to the standard DIN EN ISO 13857: 2008. By setting the parameters: safety device height, ground clearance and opening size of the protective fence element, the program determines the safety distance to the hazardous area for the user and then displays it graphically.
