The programs are available for temperature values in units of ° C and ° F, exclusively for values of z (thermal resistance constant): 10 ° C or 18 ° F, because it is the typical value used for Clostridium Botulinum, which is the reference microorganism for the evaluation of the heat treatment of low acid foods.
On the other hand, the application also contains Learning Modules on heat treatment of food. These modules are free access for students enrolled in the course: "Evaluation of the thermal treatment of food" of the Master in Food Technology of the National Agrarian University La Molina and those enrolled in the extension and social projection course "Computational applications for the evaluation and simulation of the heat treatment of canned foods ".
