The Lisbon City Council, namely the Urban Hygiene sector, in its modernization process, has implemented an integrated and innovative urban waste management solution, which consists of the installation of volumetric reading sensors installed in various types of containers, managed by a web platform, which guarantees access to information in real time, allowing the creation of dynamic removal circuits at the moment the sensors emit the alert when they are full.

This APP represents an institutional opening of Urban Hygiene services abroad, improving communication with the population, providing them with real-time information about the levels of equipment available in their area of ​​influence / residence, allowing the user to know the any time which containers are full or empty.
