Ekko reads audio from the microphone. The app continuously records to a circular buffer of finite size. When a capture event is created the contents of the buffer are stored to a file. The length of the recording is configurable in minutes from 5 to 30 minutes in settings. The default capture event is by tapping the screen. Capture events can also be triggered by voice command, dB level and accelerometer. Note: the microphone must be on for audio to be read.
