Natya Suchi is a Bharatnatyam dance catalog app that helps you to maintain a list of compositions/songs whether to keep track of your performances and learning, to track the item in your learning quest, or to plan your next performance. Any artistic performance could be stressful for artists of any experience level whether they are beginners or exponents. Natya Suchi aims to lend a hand in planning the next performance, whether you are a dance student or a performing artist.
Add Details of the Composition
Store the main details of the composition/song like the name, ragam, talam, and composer. Include the type of composition, whether it is a Pushpanjali, Varnam, Thillana, etc.
Track Performance
Indicate whether the song has been performed before. You could indicate whether you have performed it solo, in a group, or both. Don't indicate either for that song that you learnt or in your wishlist that you have not performed yet.
Save Additional Information
Add additional information and tidbits to the song. Notes allows you to track information valuable to you like the information that you already have variations of the same song available in 7 minutes and 5 mins, the last place you performed it, or anything else that could be useful when you are short of time to decide and plan.
Find that Song
Quickly find that song by the specific composer needed for the next performance. Use the filter feature to find the song by name, ragam, talam, composer, or any other detail of the song.
Spring Clean
Time and again you may not want to keep track of a composition. This could be one song you have internalized that you don't need it to be tracked. This could be that one composition where you want to start over and correct most of the details that you added in a rush. Swipe on the song and remove it from your catalog and let your catalog be squeaky clean!
Dark Mode
Use dark mode for the days when you need to use the app in low light like you are on the way on an overnight journey to the venue of your performance to protect those expressive eyes.
