Prayer is the most important element for the daily life, service and the growth of spiritual life of saints. Yet in implementing the prayer life, a lot of saints find their prayers lacking in content, and do not know how to pray according to the will of God.
The Bible tells us to “pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” (Ephesians 6:18) To help the saints to pray on all occasions and at all places and times, and to enrich the content of their prayers, this book specially provides different kinds of sample prayers as references and supplements for the prayers of saints in life and service.
The author hopes to help new believers and saints in learning how to pray, so that they may always pray unceasingly, becoming a man who prays, who is blessed and who serves God.
Apart from this, we must be conscious of the moving of the Spirit. Therefore, saints need not recite the sample prayers, but should understand the contents of all kinds of prayers, and pray according to the moving of the Spirit instead. I believe that the Lord will make us complete in the matter of prayer.
Please remember this: the more you pray, the more strength you have; the less you pray, the less strength you have; you will have no strength if you do not pray. If you always pray and praise in your daily life and in your service, the Lord will give you strength, and the contents of your prayer will be enriched and will be more after God’s heart over time.
To our gracious Lord Jesus and God the Father be all the glory, praise and love forever and ever.
