The following application allows you to calculate the reading speed, for which you must do the following:
1. Take a page of the book you are reading, make sure that this page is the one with the most words and therefore the fewest blank spaces.
2. Count the words in each line including prepositions, everything counts as one word, it is not necessary to count all the lines, it is enough to count 5 or 6 and take an average (Number of words).
3. Count all the lines on that page (Number of lines).
4. Set a reading time, for example 5 minutes (Minutes).
5. Finally count the number of pages you read in the proposed time. If I cannot read a whole page, then divide the page into decimals, for example 7.5 pages, that would be 7 and a half pages.
6. Finally press the calculate button.
