SmartIDV (SmartSearch International Document Verification) enables you to take a high quality in focus picture of any government issued document from 213 different countries. Once taken, the picture can be emailed to a regulated business (e.g. Estate agent, solicitor, accountant, financial services company) for uploading onto the SmartSearch website, where it can be electronically verified for Anti-Money Laundering purposes. This means the user does not have to send valuable documents via the post saving time and money and removing the risk of them getting lost.
