Mansi+

MANSI+ is a life cycle approach to respond to the health needs of women of reproductive age, children under five years and adolescents. The program identifies and addresses the most important health needs in the continuum of care relevant for each of the population categories so as to minimise mortality and morbidity.Effective interventions aimed at minimising preventable maternal, neonatal and infant deaths include appropriate antenatal care during pregnancy and care for the mother and newborns during and immediately after delivery. This has to be followed by effective home-based care for the new-born children and addressing nutritional requirements for development of a healthy young child.
