Danny Berrios was born on October 29 in the city of Miami, FL. His father was the well-known Puerto Rican preacher and evangelist, José "Pepito" Berrios, and his mother, Clara Berrios, a Cuban national. Danny has fathered three daughters and a boy.
Danny was raised in a Christian home. He started taking piano lessons at nine years old and at twelve, he began his singing studies.
1980 marks the beginning of Danny Berrios' ministry. In this year he went out to sing for the first time to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala in an evangelistic campaign with his father. There Danny felt that God confirmed his call. 29 successful years have passed since then, full of untold harvests and blessings.
Danny has visited the main cities of the United States, all Central & South America, the Caribbean including Cuba & Europe. It has 30 Cd's Productions, three in Portuguese and one in English. In 1986 he received a Gold Record from the Polygram label in Brazil for the sale of more than 100,000 copies of his first recording "Gloria a Dios", taking into account that this recording was in Spanish, not in Portuguese.
He has ministered in crusades of well-known Hispanic preachers: Luis Palau, Alberto Moteéis and Yiye Avila among others. He has also shared with prestigious American preachers such as Billy Graham, Morris Cerullo, Jimmy Swaggart, Larry Lee, Steve Fatow and Larry Jones among others.
His voice is known throughout the Latin world. His music has transcended three generations and still continues to impact thousands of people. Those who know Danny closely attest to not only that he is a privileged man with an incredible voice but that he is a man with a simple, humble and very charismatic personality. He currently lives in Miami, Florida USA with his wife, Alma Berrios.
