I was born on January 30, 1961 in Rieti, where I still live. Graduated in Agricultural Sciences at the University of Perugia in 1985, I work in the public administration with managerial qualifications. I deal in particular with the promotion of agri-food products and phytosanitary surveillance in the area. I only started painting and drawing at a late age in 2021, finding inspiration from what surrounds me, from the wonders of nature and from my deepest feelings. I express as a liberation my soul through art and I dedicate myself daily to painting and drawing, in my free moments. I was so captured and enraptured by art, like in a kaleidoscopic vortex that gives me continuous emotions. From the first sketches, the application and daily exercise made me bring out evidently hidden and unknown qualities to the point of literally surprising me. I get enthusiastic like a child when I see the result of my hard work and my hands.I experiment with different techniques: watercolors, acrylics, pastels, charcoal, ink, black and white, oil colors.My works are very diversified, from landscapes to portraits, to particular subjects and abstract representations which I have been dedicating myself in recent times . I also experimented with digital techniques. In addition to the classic brushes, I use other tools that produce particular effects on the supports used, whether they are canvas or paper, such as spatulas, sponges, sticks, toothbrushes, wads, etc... demonstrating limitless creativity and that each tool, even the most unexpected can bring feelings out of the soul. Even in the simplest representations I try to express my vision of the world, both realistic and imagined. I often use bright colors, especially in landscapes, capturing the thousand shades it can give a sunrise or a sunset, a bloom or the crystalline reflections of the sea. In abstracts I often improvise without a precise idea and transform the colors that I put on the sheet into sudden visions that materialize in a flash. Among my hobbies besides art there is the music that I have been listening to since my adolescence, collecting over 2000 pieces including vinyls, CDs and cassettes ranging from rock, blues, country, punk, to folk. I love reproducing the covers of famous records in drawings and paintings .Another passion, the bicycle. I practice cycling at an amateur and cycling touring level, I have to my credit numerous participations in competitions in various Italian regions. And we find cycling also represented in some of my works. 2022. I am present in the catalog of the month of March 2022 of the Gigarte auction house, with two works, one on paper and one on canvas. I participated in the selections of the "canvas of the month" competition of the Painting & surroundings portal, resulting for twice among the 12 finalists in the months of October and January. I joined the "Margutta" exhibition editorial project conceived, organized and published by Dantebus Edizioni, exhibiting a work in the art collective at the "Dantebus Margutta" Gallery in Rome from 2 to 16 March 2022.I am among the exhibiting artists at the 19th edition of "Vernice Art Fair" at the Fiera di Forlì, from 4 to 6 March 2022.I am present on the marketplace for independent artists "Artoose" where I exhibit some of my works I was selected among the finalists of the 1st Prize "City of Berlin" scheduled from 4 to 10 April 2022 at the VON ZEIDLER ART GALLERY in Berlin.
