I find that it is not easy to write a biography of oneself because it could be biased and boring to read, but if I really have to I will be brief. Giovanna D'Altani, Gianna, Giada are the names with which I identify. The first personal data, the second family member and that I chose as a teenager, the third one with which I sign my paintings and photos. My first cry under the sky of Calabria, in a snowy February of 46. I fed on the figurative art and writing to which my parents and my grandparents were dedicated, consequently I have always loved reading, and this gave birth in me the desire to become a writer. My family moved to Liguria in the early 50s, where I completed my master's studies. I taught and in the 80s I participated in various painting exhibitions, in that period I was included in the catalog of modern painters of the 900 the Square of Milan. Write because I love communicating, transmitting thoughts, instilling feelings and hope, I write for myself and for those who have the pleasure of reading me. As a young girl, I gave up playing (like the protagonist of my poem "Ella") to write fairy tales, poems. I started composing the latter at the age of seventeen following a great pain. I intensely love life, my family and my Noah's ark, currently my greatest desire is to finish and publish an autobiographical novel that tells the story of my mother and her parents. My hobby: photographing and fixing with a click unrepeatable emotions. Time passes quickly, but I continue to pursue my dream of publishing a book. I observe and reflect on everything I see and hear. My positive thought is: "I don't age, I grow".
