The hilly, yet easily accessible place merges with the surrounding fields and forests at the foot of the historic Hohenzollern Castle. Many railways offer idyllic views of the nearby Alb chain, parts of the city of Hechingen and of course the picturesque "Zollerburg".
Our well-tended 18-hole championship course is divided into the so-called "Old Course", whose park-like facility with old trees and typical juniper heather goes back to the founding year of the Hechingen-Hohenzollern Golf Club, 1955, and the "New Course". If the "Alte Platz" (lanes 1-6 and 16-18) is hilly and playfully very challenging, the nine fairways of the "Neue Platz" are flatter and wider. But be careful: High rough and water hazards quickly punish the reckless player ...
In addition to our 18-hole championship course, we have a short-game practice facility for chipping and pitching up to approx. 80 m away and two large putting greens to the right of the clubhouse and in front of the driving range. Our driving range was rebuilt in 2006 and, in addition to 10 covered mats with mirrors and a large number of flat lawn tees, offers excellent training opportunities for the long game.
