Select your favorite compass rose among 16 options.
The current calibration level is displayed in the top right corner. When it is low you should move the device a few times in all directions to recalibrate the magnetic sensor.
By default the device orientation is locked when the app starts, check the related preference in settings to allow automatic screen rotation.
