RiCS is an accessibility solution intended to aid people in understanding multimedia contents in loud environments, places where silence is vital and persons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. It provides the ability to generate and display real-time captions on the screen of the device from any media platforms not already captioned i.e. Instagram and Facebook live, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and Podcasts, etc. In simple words, get real-time captions instantly from any audio source.
The scope of the project is to develop a system-wide real-time captions generation and display capability using a microphone or internal audio grabbing mechanism.
Multiple Languages Support:
• Supports real-time captions in over 125 languages and variants.
• Supports quick-switching between 2 languages.
Requirements:
• Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and up.
