ECOHUB has been the result of environmental research and activism for the last 20 years with active work in the field of environmental awareness. We realized that the scope of the Government, NGOs, institutions, and individuals in handling the problem of Urban and Semi urban solid waste generation, management, and safe recycling or disposal is critical and efforts to manage it effectively have faced hurdles and stagnation.
Ecohub is a start-up which is not only a social entrepreneurship venture but a scientific movement that would provide services and products that would be affordable, feasible, ecologically safe and extremely sustainable solutions to generate clean and a safe urban city environment.
ECOHUB initially is focusing on a scientific solid waste management to help the city of Kolhapur and other cities in the country to be environmentally safe and clean cities by getting rid of foul smelling overflowing garbage dumps or mountains of landfill garbage or trash depots.
The solid waste management systems of ECOHUB in turn will create clean highly effective fertilizers for agriculture reducing synthetic fertilizer use and conserving the soil excavation from river banks , clean and environmentally sustainable homes and residential areas with practically no use of plastic bags used to pack and dispose kitchen or organic waste.
