Derive VQ is built with drivers at the core of the experience which means we’ve worked hard to ensure our solution doesn’t get in the way. Once our hardware is installed in a vehicle, drivers pair their device by enabling Bluetooth and using a simple tap on the steering wheel when prompted. Once paired, the vehicle is enabled and can be driven normally.

Key Features:
Tap to Pair - during initial setup, all that a driver needs to do is tap their phone on the steering wheel when prompted. The Derive VQ app will automatically connect with Derive VQ hardware.
Automatic Check-In - with Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) enabled, the Derive VQ app automatically pairs drivers with their vehicles as they approach.
Energy Savings - We use BLE for our pairing process, so drivers don’t need to worry about power consumption on their phone while they drive.
Distracted Driving Prevention (DDP) and Emergency Calling – DDP prevents drivers from using their phone for anything other than emergency calls and manager-defined features. Available in our next major release.
