SOS Mulher Juá is a service offered by the North Regional Police Command of the Bahia Military Police in the city of Juazeiro - Bahia. The app has a panic button to speed up the distress call, sending the current location to the police center, as well as making it possible to send complaints by both the victim and their social circle in cases of violence against women, whether physical, psychological, social, patrimonial or moral.
How it works:
Panic button: to use it is necessary to register, after pressing the button the app will send your current location to the police center and this will direct the nearest car for service.
Complaints: Registration is not necessary and the complainant does not need to identify himself either. By filling out the form with all the information, he will be analyzed by the military police who can send a car to the place or forward the complaint to the competent body that will continue the investigations.
If there is unavailability of mobile data network or wifi in the device, the system will not enable the button activation or submission of the complaint, requiring telephone contact through the 190.
All data entered into the system is kept confidential.
