The GUARDIÕES Project aims to generate a high impact in raising awareness and informing civil society about the problem of climate change, generating content, promoting actions with people, seeking to present solutions that can make the Alentejo region an example in the decarbonization of the economy and in the transition towards a more circular and sustainable economy.
Within the Guardians project, 5 major international conferences called Energy and Climate Summit will be developed over the next year, which will seek to bring to Portugal the knowledge of science, the best examples and best practices of those who have already taken the lead in this transformation. Specialists from various countries will be gathered and will present the contributions of teaching and science in the
generation of solutions to the climate crisis.
