Nutripedia is in fact a project designed to contribute to the dissemination of correct information on nutrition in the first 1000 days and to combat fake news. To do this, a team of experts, pediatricians, gynecologists and nutritionists was involved, and not only: with the aim of intercepting the unfair news circulating in particular on the web, some blogger mothers and fathers have come together to make their contribution to the project. Thus was born the first "participatory encyclopedia" and in continuous evolution on the nutrition of mother and child, which combines the rigor of science and the language and needs of parents and anyone who needs to orient themselves in the world of child nutrition.
To be closer to parents in the first important stages of the child's growth, the RIMMI and Fondazione Danone experts have launched a support tool for mothers and fathers, a real "digital encyclopedia, always at hand" where to find the necessary information on nutrition in the first 1000 days: the first chatbot dedicated to child nutrition, which allows parents to ask questions on issues related to nutrition in childbearing age, during pregnancy, breastfeeding and during the first years of a child's life.
The user, registering in a simple and fast way, will be able to access the app to select the area of interest from those shown, which are also treated on the site: fertile age, pregnancy, weaning breastfeeding, feeding 1-3 years, general concepts . By placing the desired question, the chatbot will respond automatically referring to the contents and articles made by the RIMMI experts, also present on the Nutripedia website. If the chatbot does not have a ready answer to the specific need of the parent, the possibility will be given to forward their doubts directly to the experts, who will respond directly to the user.
