Municipal candidates 2016 Chile is an interdisciplinary initiative of the University of Development Smartlab managed by UDD, the School of Communications and the School of Government, the code was developed by Ratiboo and supported the mediapartner Radio Biobio and CNN Chile.
This mobile application aims to inform Chilean citizens on municipal elections to be held in October 2016 as easily accessible to the names of the candidates for mayor and City Council manner.
The digital tool does not seek to know the voting preference of users who download it. The use of social networks only allows users to send proposals to candidates and share information within their own networks.
The purpose of this application is to promote-from innovation and interdisciplinary participation to foster an informed citizenry.
