The Dhaka Mercantile Co-operative Bank Ltd. (DMCBL) is operating in Bangladesh since 1973. It has 140 branches and around 1,900 fields across the country as on 12 February, 2023. Around 1,900 Investment Officers visit around 1 lac members in person on a daily basis to collect their Deposits and Micro Investment accounts' installments.
Collection related features of the app is available for specific authorized users only. During log in, the app collects the mobile device’s identification number and sends the device ID to the app server for verification, where the app server compares the device ID with the pre-configured value and allows log in for the authorized users using the authorized mobile devices only.
The IT Department of DMCBL has developed this mobile app named as "DMCB" to make the collection process easier, which provides the following facilities:
1. Secure login and user account management.
2. View the list of the active members of the respective field and account
wise collectable installment amounts from the members.
3. Posting of the installment collections into the banking system.
4. Reporting of the installment collections.
