The non-profit association Itsasplanet de Getaria, with the collaboration of various public and private entities, has launched the BLUE POINT project to help clean the seas and create jobs associated with the new emerging sector of fishing and reuse of marine plastic .
It is about helping to involve civil society (citizens, companies and institutions) in the search and application of solutions to the serious problem of marine and river pollution, which affects not only biodiversity but also our health and the resources that the oceans can offer for our own survival as humanity's last reserve.
