Nautisub was born in Alghero in 1982 thanks to the passion of the deep sea diver Settimio Cardone, who from the beginning oriented the activity to the retail sale of professional items for underwater fishing, rod fishing, boating and camping, driving sectors in the the eighties.
In 1993 the great adventure of recreational diving begins: the historic fishing boat from Alghero Andrea Padre is transformed into a motorboat to take divers to scuba dive in the wonderful depths of Capo Caccia, an area that hosts beautiful karst caves that can be used by all.
In 2000, the sons Andrea and Enea took over from their father, who expanded their activity in the professional technical assistance sector, opening the Cylinder Test Center, approved by ISPESL (Higher Institute for Social Security and Safety at Work), and the Bauer Assistance Center. for high-pressure compressors for breathing air.
Located in via Garibaldi 45 / E, the Nautisub store has an exhibition space of 90 square meters and a workshop for the maintenance of diving equipment with refilling cylinders up to 300 bar for breathing air in accordance with EN 12021.
As for the Diving Center activity, Nautisub can boast the Andrea Padre, an 18-meter passenger transport motor ship with a capacity of 60 people that makes day trips in the fantastic Porto Conte Regional Natural Park and in the Capo Caccia Marine Protected Area. - Isola Piana, with lunch on board based on typical local products, snorkeling in beautiful bays full of curious fish and semi-submerged caves with plays of light that leave you breathless.
The dives, on the other hand, are reserved for the patented and are carried out daily throughout the Marine Protected Area, in submerged caves and in walls rich in colors, fish, vegetation and coral. You can go on a trip with Andrea Padre following the full day formula (full day with double dive and lunch) or on single excursions with the centre's rubber dinghy; the equipment is all available on board.
The operational base is in Banchina Dogana, at the Andrea Padre motor ship in the ancient part of the port of Alghero.
