The I Race for Spondylitis is part of the celebrations of October 20, National Spondylitis Day. In Spain, around 300,000 people suffer from Axial Spondyloarthritis, commonly known as Spondylitis, a disease that causes inflammation and back pain and that can be associated with other symptoms that affect the eyes, skin, stomach or mood. Physical exercise should be part of the treatment of patients with Spondylitis. The object of this initiative is to encourage physical exercise, so important for everyone, and to give visibility to this pathology.
The I Race for Spondylitis is a non-competitive virtual race in which you can participate regardless of condition, gender or nationality, aimed at patients with Spondylitis, their family and friends, the medical professionals who care for them, and anyone who wants to join us in to participate in this event.
