The reciters of the Noble Qur’an used to learn the maqamat at the hands of their sheikhs. Some of them used to learn a maqam, two or three, but they lacked the people of music in this art until Dr. Hassan Yahya al-Marji came and composed this beautiful and easy system to make it easier for the reciters of the Holy Qur’an to read them, so we ask God Almighty to forgive the author of this system and the supervisor of its publication
