About Dr. Security: SOS emergencies
Dr. Security goes beyond an app; it's a LIFE-SAVING emergency system.
It comprises of a mobile app linked to TeleMedik’s Response Center, offering 24/7 immediate emergency assistance year-round.
HOW DOES DR. SECURITY WORK?
4 ways to send an SOS:
• Pressing the SOS button for 3 seconds.
• Clicking an external button linked via Bluetooth.
• Detecting a fall or sudden impact.
• Exhausting the countdown timer.
Along with the SOS request, the app sends:
• The exact location of the emergency.
• Personal and health data.
• An audiovisual recording of the event.
This helps us to identify the user and act immediately according to best practices, for example in case of chronic illnesses, allergies, pregnancy, or medication intake.
Immediate emergency verification and response process include:
• Phone and/or chat contact with the user.
• Activating remote assistance protocol with our professionals.
• Re-directing extreme emergencies to 911.
• Contacting the user's trusted person for comprehensive reassurance.
SPECIALIZED IN HEALTH EMERGENCIES
Our assistance is multidisciplinary. We can internally manage emergencies, avoiding unnecessary trips to emergency rooms, offering:
• Nursing line with clinical evaluation by a doctor (NAL).
• Social Assistance Line.
