Talvane Sobreira, completed her dentistry course in 1985 at UFPB, and soon after she left for Rio de Janeiro where she started her specialization course in maxillofacial surgery, finishing a year later in 1986. Starting to work in surgery in a private clinic and in public services, even today. He founded and headed several traumatology services, among them, the buco maxillofacial surgery service at Hospital Santa Isabel in João Pessoa, started in 91 when FUSAM (Municipal Health Foundation) and the Emergency and Trauma Hospital Senador Humberto Lucena in João Person - PB.
He was a professor in the discipline of Traumatology and Oral Maxillofacial Prosthesis at the Federal University of Paraíba. He is currently professor of the discipline of surgery and specialization in surgery at the Faculty of Dentistry of UNIPÊ, in João Pessoa and also coordinator of the improvement course in maxillofacial surgery at ABO PB. Having published works in respected vehicles in the midst of the medical-dental community. The Clinic
Planned and prepared for the exercise of maxillofacial surgery, the Dr. Talvane Sobreira Clinic, has a large waiting room for the comfort of clients and companions, who can enjoy the paintings and sculptures made by the surgeon, or watch television programming in High definition.
The consultation office, designed to soften the impression of a hospital environment, was inspired by the English style, with furniture from the colonial period, giving access to the examination room. In a specially planned area, sterilization and storage of materials and surgical instruments are carried out, following the sequence of use, standardized by the Health Surveillance, for the effectiveness of biosafety, our greatest concern with surgical patients. The clinic has areas for washing and decontamination and storage of instruments and materials that are not in use.
The Operating Room is equipped with nitrous oxide, surgical laser, state-of-the-art chair, with white lighting, equipment for emergencies and resuscitation, surgical engines, 3D glasses for the patient to watch their favorite clips during the surgical session, bringing comfort and safety .
