The application "Discovering São Gonçalo" is a database in which you will bring information about the formation of the city of São Gonçalo, and also some information about the 92 neighborhoods divided into 5 districts that make up the municipality. The data that supply the application come from surveys made available by the São Gonçalo City Hall, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and other research and media outlets. The application is the first completely offline collection with general information about the city, in addition to being the first application produced about any municipality in the eastern region of Rio de Janeiro. The student will also be able to obtain data on the location of the neighborhoods and their districts through the exhibition of maps, as well as photos with curiosities about the history of the city and its neighborhoods. The app has an interactive moment, in which students can post information about their neighborhoods, both positive and negative. This information can be posted via text and sending photos and videos, and regularly, all this information will be available to all users of the app.
