But that has become an old story, because currently the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registry (Ditjen Dukcapil) of the Ministry of Home Affairs has made it easier to service population administration documents with independent printing innovations from home.
Population documents such as birth certificates, family cards, death certificates, and others can now be printed on your own using plain white paper of type HVS A4 80 grams from a printer at home or elsewhere. So, you don't need to bother going to the nearest dukcapil office anymore just to take care of all the population documents earlier.
Even though it is only printed on a single sheet of paper and unlike before using security printing paper with anti-counterfeiting holograms, the document still has legal force.
The key is in the quick response (QR) scanner code in the lower right corner of the paper document that has been printed independently from home. This QR code is a kind of electronic signature as a marker of data authenticity and a replacement for wet signatures and stamps that used to be printed with security printing.
