The Simple Content Platform makes it possible to organize virtual communities around the sharing of contents in the form of in real-time events or prerecorded activities. It was designed specifically with older adults in mind. The idea behind it is twofold: to provide organizations with a tool to implement elderly-focused social activities and contents through virtual media, and to provide the elderly with a means to participate in those activities with the aim of reducing their loneliness and preserving their cognitive and physical abilities.
