Picture this, you’re on your university campus, it’s 9am and all your friends are still at home snoozing ‘cause who really comes to campus at 9am. It’s getting late into the evening and all your friends have either gone home for the day, to work or wherever else. Or it’s lunchtime on campus and none of your friends are around because who really comes to uni anyway, right? That’s where the vision behind this app came from - to help individuals meet new, like-minded persons right on campus one-on-one or in a group setting. Persons you wouldn’t normally meet. Think of the conversations, debates, and new ideas that can come from these types of interactions. Using a live map to see other people’s location in real time on campus you will be able to choose who you like to have lunch or a coffee with, shoot them a message and if they agree that’s it - meet up and meet someone new. We believe this app can help bring people together and foster cultural integration. Furthermore, it’s a well known fact many university students suffer from some sort of mental health issue and isolate themselves. We believe our app can help these kinds of people out as sometimes we all just need someone to talk to and listen.
