Positive Pay SMS App is a solution provided by Manipal Technologies to enhance the safety of cheque payments and to prevent cheque fraud.
This App allows the user to scan the QR code printed on the cheque, enter details, generate SMS & send it to the bank with cheque details.
Positive Pay provides a dynamic and unique QR printed on the Cheque. A unique MIRI ID is embedded as part of the QR Code. The Miri ID is a 16-digit number based on a patented algorithm and does not follow a set sequence as a cheque number.
Each Cheque consists of a unique Miri ID number embedded as part of the QR Code. This QR code needs to be scanned before inputting the cheque details. Scanning the cheque QR code ensures that the cheque cannot be submitted through any other app other than the customer to whom the cheque is issued.
