The Essen-based energy Club e.V. was founded in 2012 to facilitate the exchange between students from different disciplines and various energy companies and coordinate. To this end, we organize the annual Essen Energy Forum (EDF), a volunteer-organized by students and doctoral symposium. The two-day, interdisciplinary event offers participants besides demanding lectures on topics of energy, policy and technology the opportunity to intensify contacts between science, teaching and practice.
The EDF is designed for students, graduate students and young professionals in the energy sector, offering them the opportunity for personal and professional development. For this, we invite selected speakers for lectures, workshops and panel discussions. The program content is complemented by a relaxed evening event.
