The Live Sculpture Festival is the first festival of static art in Slovakia.
It took place for the first time on 1 - 2 September 2017 in Spišská Nová Ves. The idea to organize a festival of live sculptures was created in the head of artistic director Radovan Michalov, who is also the author of the live statues of Big Names. They were the main program of the Live Sculpture 2018 festival.
The Big Names project had its world premiere in March 2015 in Istanbul and has gone a long way since then. Worth mentioning is Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Qatar or even a little closer to Copenhagen or Paris.
In Slovakia, you could see Big Names in the final pair of the well-known Czech-Slovakia show.
