Baynes Memorial Baptist Church Matriculation Higher Secondary School comprises of Lower Kinder Garten to Std. XII. The school is located in Jaladianpet, Chennai.
The Madras English Baptist Church was founded on 21 November 1847. In 1850, the Church Started the Baptist Mission School in the Present Building 1. In the year 1900 the school was discontinued. Baynes, S.B. took over, the Lord Jesus Christ guided the Board of Trustees to start the Baynes Memorial Baptist Church Matriculation School in the same Building 1 on January 4,1971. By the Grace of God and because of first Class Teaching and professional management, the School was Recognised by The University of Madras June from 1976. Thereafter it was upgraded as a Higher Secondary School from June 1981.
In process of time, the Ebenezer Baptist Church and The Baynes Memorial Baptist Church Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Jaladianpet was started in 1987.
