Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, more than 5 million citizens of Ukraine have become forced migrants outside the state. After leaving for safe countries, far from shell explosions and the sound of sirens, a new life throws Ukrainians daily challenges, requires quick adaptation to new, sometimes incomprehensible conditions, laws, and rules. Solving problematic issues, quickly finding the necessary help, live communication with relatives, new acquaintances - during a stay in foreign, sometimes unfamiliar countries, difficulties may arise with these previously everyday tasks.
Careful specialists from all over Europe could not remain aloof from the problems of Ukrainian citizens. The result of the painstaking work of a team of specialists was the creation of the Country application. It is designed to unite Ukrainians in different parts of the world for communication, online and offline mutual assistance, and the search for new acquaintances among our citizens abroad. The Ukrainian service of state electronic services Diya became a partner of the project, integrating the only possibility of authorization in the application - through Diya.Signature. The purpose of the partnership is to provide access to the country exclusively for Ukrainians.
How does it work?
Authorization in the application using Action.Signature is a guarantee of security and actually creates the first unified Ukrainian infospace with convenient and accessible functionality.
In the application you can find:
- a bulletin board for finding the necessary services/contacts
- personalized and interesting information about compatriots next to the user;
- communication in the messenger.
It is also possible to specify the age category, interests, dating wishes, geolocation, add a profile photo, etc.
The future of the first Ukrainian social network
Over time, the developers plan to expand the functionality of the application to share useful files, use voice messages and video calls, group chats, the ability to express feelings with Ukrainian emoji and comment on announcements. This creates prerequisites for the emergence of a full-fledged Ukrainian social network.
