"Calendar of events" shows the most important and interesting significant events for any day of the year.
It was created on the basis of the good old tear-off calendar of the Soviet times.
On the main tape (sheet) of the calendar, Russian holidays are shown, including floating ones, days of cities, international days of the UN. If desired, you can connect the national holidays of other countries, Orthodox, Catholic in the “Interface Settings”. The feed also displays the most important events of the selected day.
In addition to holidays and significant events, dates on the main message feed, the application shows more detailed daily information by category:
1. A day in history;
2. Birthdays of famous people;
3. Birthdays;
4. Folk omens;
5. Moon and sun;
6. Lunar calendar,
and also shows information from your built-in google calendars.
The lunar calendar consists of sections:
1. Phases of the moon;
2. Hair cutting;
3. Gardeners and gardeners;
4. Affairs, work, business;
5. Weddings.
Our application can maintain your own personal calendar in which you can store information:
1. Birthdays of friends and acquaintances,
2. Personal notes - reminders (periodic and non-periodic)
with the ability to alert at the right time.
Reminders can be once, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.
You can customize the time and frequency of personal reminder alerts, taking full advantage of google calendars.
In the application, the Internet is required only when maintaining your personal notes and reminders and viewing the data of the lunar calendar.
To maintain your personal calendar, you need to sign in to your Google account (Google account), which will allow you to take full advantage of Google calendars.
Signing in to Google account is proposed to be done at the start of the application by default.
Lists of birthdays of friends and acquaintances, personal notes are stored in your personal Google calendar, linked to your Google account, but not linked to a specific phone.
That is, from any other phone, by logging into this Google account, you can use this information.
Alerts for an upcoming birthday or an upcoming event that you enter will be sent to your phone regardless of whether the Events Calendar application is running or not.
If you want to use this mechanism, enable the option "Login to Google account at startup" in the "Calendar settings".
This option is enabled by default.
If you do not want to keep lists of birthdays, notes, personal reminders, disable this option.
In this case, the Internet is not required for the "Calendar of events" application to work.
If you don't want to sign in to your Google account for some reason, or if you can't sign in, disable this option.
Then, when you start the application, the Google account login window will not appear.
The application interface is easily customizable depending on the user's preferences.
For example, you can change the font size of the message feed text and the magnification font size when clicking on a message. This option may be useful for people with poor eyesight.
