Despite the fact that up to 30 million different animal species live on our planet, scientists have calculated that 99.9% of all species that have ever existed have simply disappeared. Extinction is a completely natural process, typical species died out within the first 10 million years, although some of them were able to survive without resorting to any changes and adaptation until the present day.
