Explore the story behind the Erlangen Stolpersteine!
In the app you will find biographies, pictures and audio files about the people behind the names.
The app was created in 2019/20 as a project seminar by 13 students from the Emmy-Noether-Gymnasium in Erlangen (Bavaria / Germany) with the aim of dealing in detail with the individual biographies of the victims of the Holocaust remembered on the stones to make this information accessible via an app.
The seminar set itself the task of commemorating the victims and coming to terms with the crimes of the Nazi regime on a regional level, thereby making a small contribution to preserving memory and counteracting forgetting.
On the stumbling blocks they read the name, the year of birth, the date of deportation, place and date of death.
