With VirtualAgroMeteo you can install your virtual weather stations in each of your plots, and immediately have an indispensable information asset for your 4.0 farmer activity.
Install your weather stations.
Go to the field, take the control unit that you see appearing in augmented reality in the camera of your smartphone and install it in your field simply with a click! You will automatically have access to personalized information assets that, alternatively, you could have only by installing expensive weather stations and accessing various regional agrometeo sites (among other things, not available for all production areas). The system is in fact based on the spatialized processing of the data of the Italian Air Force and allows to have coverage of the entire national territory with a data grid of 1x1 km (25 times more defined than the now traditional applications based on national public data that are based on meshes of 5x5 km and 625 times more defined than applications based on public international data which are based on meshes of 25x25 km). Each farmer, on the other hand, needs to have timely information on their plots ... For this VirtualAgroMeteo allows you to install a control unit for each field that makes up your farm, even if the company has plots in different areas of Italy. Access to information takes place directly on the application and the data can also be used on your profile on Image Line Network, the reference cloud portal for the application.
Forecasts and historical data
Once you have installed your virtual weather stations, you can have immediate access to hourly data, both the weather forecast for the next 7 days, and the historical weather data for the last 30 days.
What hourly data are available
For both the 7-day forecast and the 30-day historical data VirtualAgroMeteo makes the following weather data available:
- temperatures (maximum, minimum, average, thermal sum based on 10);
- precipitation (total useful rain, snow, hail, cloud cover);
- windiness (direction, intensity, maximum gusts);
- agronomic data (average humidity, total transpiration, leaf wetness and solar radiation);
- possibility or not to perform phytosanitary treatments:
- treatments not possible due to wet leaves, too low or too high temperature, forecast rain or too low humidity
- limited treatments due to possible problems with too high or too low temperature, too strong wind, rain forecast after a few hours)
- possible treatments.

VirtualAgroMeteo is the first application that integrates meteorological information, agronomic information and augmented reality. Finally it is possible to have an application that
- provides the weather data of each plot cultivated by a farmer (or managed by a technician / consultant);
- integrates them with information of purely agronomic interest (from thermal sums to the possibility of carrying out phytosanitary treatments);
