SIMY My-MOB allows you to program your beacon with the MMSI number of your boat or your VHF. The MMSI is programmed using the flash of the smartphone to be positioned in front of and near the white LED of the beacon. In factory configuration, My-MOB is configured in open loop (the Man Overboard alert will then be transmitted instantly to all DSC receivers in radio range). You can also select the closed loop mode (the Man Overboard alert will then be transmitted only to the programmed MMSI, then after 12 minutes to all DSC receivers in radio range). Programming the MMSI is required to perform a complete self-test including DSC transmission and reception with your VHF.
