I used to love Eshyft. However, they forced all W2 employees to become 1099 independent contractors, and you must withhold your own taxes. Eshyft keeps preaching the nurses asked for this, which is completely FALSE. I'd love for them to take a poll amongst ACTUAL employees and not their headquarters affiliates either. Out of 30 staff members I know that work for Eshyft, not one person is happy about becoming a 1099 contractor. We were given a 2-week notice on the switch in December 2025.
