We attend to the quantitative housing deficit through the construction of houses and the qualitative one through improvements to existing homes, we also serve people in extreme poverty through projects such as the Healthy Kit and we offer technical assistance through training.
Our coverage is nationwide, this through our 25 offices, which are located in the main departmental capitals and serve the needs of families. In addition, we have national offices in Quetzaltenango and Ciudad Capital, which have a direct relationship with volunteers and donors.
We partner with Guatemalan families to improve their quality of life, through social financing, which covers the full cost of a home, rehabilitation or improvements; families receive construction materials and skilled labor, never cash, with which we guarantee transparency in the execution of each of our programs.
Likewise, our programs involve training (Financial Education, Disaster Risk Management, Housing Construction, Stoves and Latrines; Nutritional Recipes, Hygiene, Health and Self-esteem), with which we guarantee comprehensive development.
Our homes are built with high-quality materials and with an earthquake-resistant system, to guarantee the safety of the families that live in them, in addition, the construction is supervised by experts and is carried out in safe places.
We are a source of employment for more than 600 master builders per year. Our international volunteers mean an additional investment for the tourism sector.
