Radio Capital 710 aired on September 23, 1968.1 Its founders were producers Oswaldo Yepes and Tito Martínez del Box along with the industrialist Radamés Lebrón.1 They had acquired the station La Voz de la Patria 710 AM (founded in 1937) by Monsignor Jesús María Pellín.1 For years it had a youthful style with a predominance of songs in English that combined with informative and opinion spaces.1 It was aimed at socioeconomic sectors A, B and C.1
