The MUST EUROFLORA App is a participatory maintenance and management service for built heritage, created to support the area manager in identifying any failures that have occurred on the elements of the built system. The app guides in the recognition of faults, providing a system of instructions on how to interact with expert knowledge, while an open database supports the reporting system and helps the manager to have a control of recurring faults and critical entities of the sub-systems. The digital platform was designed according to a prosumer perspective logic, which allows system users to get in touch with domain experts and maintenance companies, creating a context aware community. It is possible to report faults and performance anomalies found in the Nervi park area (Genoa) during the EUROFLORA event, on the operation of the systems, and on the elements of the street furniture. In this way, the user is able in real time to reach the maintenance service manager and interact with the technicians. Through the use of MUST, the site manager has a constantly updated database of the conservation status of their assets. The monitoring of the evolution of faults determines a timely re-programming of inspections and interventions, the latter aimed at realigning the performance of the sub-systems of the urban environment to the requirements that come from user needs. As part of the EUROFLORA event, MUST becomes a tool for monitoring the state of the area. MUST is a project co-financed by POR FESR 2014-2021 Campania Region, Priority Axis 1 “Research and Innovation”.
