For Cloud Backup: INTERNET permission is required and the scope is application specific which means only app-related data can be read or written in your Google Drive folder.
For Auto-Creation of Expense Report: SMS_RETRIEVED permission is required and this will be requested only for Indian people since the format is only supported for India. READ_SMS permission is required to read and update expense reports. Currently, it is only supported in India. Will be planning to introduce it globally.
